Hello, LVRSNFRNDS!

Happy birthday to us! Last week was LVRSNFRNDS 3rd anniversary 💖 and here's an update on what we've been implementing lately.

As you may have noticed already, we replaced the old "start a conversation" button with a "Question box". Upon clicking on the button, you will be taken to a quick form where you can submit a question you'd like to see discussed at a live convo. So, what's great and different about the Question box?

🙈 It can be anonymous.

Unlike the previous setting, you will now have the option to choose between hosting the event yourself and having someone else host it for you! The second option is completely anonymous!

⚡️ It's faster.

When submitting your question anonymously, there are only two steps to the process; (1) entering your question and (2) ticking "would be great if someone could host for me". We've also cut down on the number of steps for hosting your own event to only include five necessary ones (and six if the convo is potentially triggering).

💖 It's easier.

Instead of coming up with answers for each step of creating an event you want to host, you will only need to enter your question, name, email, potential triggers, and the time and date of your event. We will tag you when the event goes live so that you can define success or provide context for it!

For the sake of simplifying how we connect with each others while still striving to co-create a space for meaningful interactions, we have changed our direct messaging (DM) policy and added other ways to get to know each others in a casual set up.

The emojis system used during live conversations is extended to members profiles.

💖 or any heart means "Yes to DM."

🟣 or any circle means "Yes to DM about something I've discussed."

❌ or any cross means "No to DM."

We recommend to go for the circle to encourage interactions of quality. One DM breaking the rule (eg not consensual or without context for circles) will get you a warning, two your membership revoked.

👉 Pick the emoji that reflects how you feel an add it before your first name in the same field. Feel free to update it as you like. Consent is dynamic!

An all member chat is now available: at any time, you can text chat with all members of LVRSNFRNDS.

This is especially great for casual interactions, to introduce yourself to the community and to ask quick questions.

We have now a Zoom room you can jump in at any time (between online events listed in the Events section).

This is a great addition to the all member chat if you feel like moving the conversation from text- to video-chat.

The weekly Cheerleaders event has been replaced by a Pop Up Room anyone can join via the Events section to meet other members and enjoy casual conversations to get to know each others.

These are great to meet members and to introduce yourself to the community.
